I had read a few snippets about the upcoming novel, and I cannot wait. 2013 has a leading contender for most anticipated novel of the year.
Under Heaven is one my absolute favorite Kay novels, and I'm stoked that he's returning to the same lands although centuries later. I'm hoping for a similar effect to Lions of al-Rassan and the Sarantium Mosaic, which are also some of his greatest works.
Some good reading on the road ahead!
