Anyone planning on seeing this movie???
Unless it gets savaged by critics before next week, I will likely go. Problem is, Martin Scorsese has always been hit or miss with me. . .

I want to see it, but I am a little annoyed with Paramount. The film is 3D and that trailers were 2D even in theaters showing a 3D movie. It made zero sense.
That said, the story look decent enough, but I am with you Pat...Scorsese is hit and miss with me as well.
I'm a tad more excited about TIN TIN and THE MUPPETS.
I friend of mine went to see the preview and said it was great. He's a pretty harsh critic too, so it surprised me. He said it was definitely worth it to see in 3-D. The Entertainment Weekly article gushed over it and gave it an A-. They also mentioned the spectacular use of 3-D. I have to say it made me excited to see it.
The critics loved it.
85 on metacritic and 97% fresh on rottentomatoes.
Ebert liked the 3D. And if you keep track of old EBert you know how much he despires almost all use of 3D, so it has to be pretty damn good.
