Musical Interlude
Sex sells in Bulgaria, folks!
You should see the ads they have for Lipton's Ice Tea around here!
Meet sexy Andrea. She probably has a few gigs coming up, for she was on posters everywhere in Ruse.
She looks like a friendly gal... :P

So you finally introduced yourself to Eastern European Dance Music :)
Dude. Could you have picked a worse part of Bulgarian culture to point out, rather than pop-folk and Stanek? It's kinda ugly...

Well I wouldn't say no to her, lol. She's gorgeous :)
Roland,
I could praise the virtues of shopska salad or Zagorka and Shumensko beer, but who would care!?!
Bulgarian women are hot, no question about it! There are worse things in this world than a sexy pop music video, you know!
As for Stanek, well someone in Bulgaria has given the guy what I presume is his only true book deal. So you have to live with that shame...
But there are plenty of things to love about this country! =)
Oh, the shame of being bulgarian, when people see THAT kind of songs and videos...
Anyway, I'm glad that you find plenty of things to love about my dear home, even though it's hellishly hot right now in Veliko Tarnovo, where it seems we both are :D
You know, if you like that kind of music/women, you should visit Kaloyanova Krepost, it's got live music usually... not sure when, though, I've never set my foot in there :D
(Also, do be careful in the Marno Pole park, if you stay there too long, the gypsies will start pestering you for money. And be careful with the Shumensko too. It's the reason for today's hellish hangover, I'm not really sure what they put in there)
Yeah, sorry about ranting, but I got that "Ooh-look-someones's-visiting-my-hometown" urge ^^;
You're all messed up in the heads :p

Roland, it seems you only post here to complain about Pat and to plug your own blog. Perhaps you should try giving out some positive vibes to get attention?
It's a signature, not plugging. And I post when I have something to say, not to generate interest. If Pat has a problem with it, he would surely mention something. Also, it's a bit embarrassing that you haven't caught on the joking tone of the entire exchange ;)

It's a great song actually, thanks for posting Pat.
ha, bulgarian "manele". actually, the song's composer is costi ionitza, who is from constanta, romania. and the girl's a former miss bulgaria, if i remember correctly.
All it needs is a cameo by Stanek - perhaps dropping a bag full of his actually-published Bulgarian versions of his books. And then it would be perfect.
Did she really sing? Could swear she just wandered around in a mute video. :D
