Wow, thanks! I'm looking forward to it. :-)
Based in rural Mississippi during a time when it was frowned upon for a white boy to be friends with a black boy, Silas and Larry secretively meet in the woods on hot afternoons to do what boys do. Play. While this relationship would only last for three months, the two would always have one another on there mind. When a girl comes up missing at the end of there highschool year, Larry is immediatley targeted as a person of interest, and would forever hold the title, "Scary Larry" even though he is inocent. While Silas looks on and does nothing to comfort Larry during this time, a second incident will unravel all the tings that he has kept to himself for nearly twenty-five years. This compelling story will keep readers wanting more, even after the last page is turned. A great book by. Tom Franklin.
