Well, according to wotmania.com and Locus Magazine, Robert Jordan sold the first three books in his new Infinity of Heaven series, "high fantasy with a touch of Shogun," to Tom Doherty at Tor.
So all his fans (including Yours Truly!;-)) now have something to look forward to after The Wheel of Time!

Chuh! He's already begun a second series before finishing the Wheel Of Time. And now he's starting a third one without having finished either of the first two? What makes you think he's ever gonna finish anything? He's lost his way, I tell you.
Wow! Yet another series he won't ever finish!
I read the first book to The Wheel of Time as a freshman in high school. I am now 30 years old. Maybe he'll actually finish The Wheel of Time before I die of old age, but I doubt it. Both he and his editor need to take a look at what he has written lately. The last half of each book is repeated in the following volume. His last four books were so repetitious they could easily have been combined into one or two books
